Edale at drupa 2016

Edale have announced once again their participation at Drupa 2016. Their widely acclaimed Design and Consultancy service will be the main focus for Edale with James Boughton, Edale's MD on hand to meet with prospective technology partners to discuss how Edale can support with pioneering web transportation systems and complex integration solutions. Edale will also be available to discuss the features and benefits of their wide portfolio of flexographic and digital hybrid printing presses offered to label and packaging printers.

Edale's Design and Consultancy service has been growing steadily for the past 5 years, supported by their in-house team of designers, mechanical and software engineers who have been increasing in numbers rapidly to support demand. The services offered are centred on the design, development and manufacture of high precision web transport systems and print finishing solutions for single pass inkjet printing. Collaborations with a number of well-known inkjet OEMs over the last 15 years have resulted in a number of successful commercial solutions, giving Edale, possibly the largest installation base of hybrid inkjet solutions. Commonly known for producing narrow mid-web transportation systems Edale have recently expanded their capability to manufacture web widths of over 1500mm, this is one of the many reasons, renowned technology partners choose to repeatedly work alongside Edale in order to continue developing solutions for the ever evolving labels and packaging markets.

There has been a vast investment in the core flexographic range at Edale, technology and software developed as part of their design and consultancy service has been implemented into their range to ensure they remain at the forefront of manufacturing high quality printing presses. This technology has largely seen Edale move away from the traditional analogue stacked presses to the more complex, high quality digital systems that are now seen within the market place. The demand for higher quality and faster production has seen Edale team up with leading OEM's to develop and share knowledge and implement this within their flexographic range. With new technology such as hybrid semi rotary die cutting and full linear and lateral camera registration, Bernard Grob, Edale's Export Director will be on hand to discuss with label and packaging printers how these developments can really benefit their production and return on investment.

The team at Edale look forward to meeting potential customers and partners at Drupa and would encourage those looking to speak with them to arrange an appointment in advance by contacting Edale directly on info@edale.com, or alternatively they can be found within the official Drupa directory where appointments can also be made.
