Amongst them the very successful LED Powerline. This highly efficient UV LED unit is not only suitable for pinning, but also for final curing in inkjet printing. The LED Powerline is available in different lengths (variable in 40 mm steps) and in the wavelengths of 365/375/385/395/405 nm. Thus it can be optimally adapted to any application.
During the recent months Hönle stressed their position at the larger format inkjet printing market by developing the new jetCURE serial. These high performance UV curing units (up to 240 W) permit perfect curing even at fastest production speeds and lead to a considerably improved printing quality.
jetCURE systems are equipped with IR absorbing reflectors for temperature sensitive materials and are available in lamp spectra which are optimized to the particular printing inks.
The use of Hönle electronic power supplies (EPS) can improve the drying process even further. EPS technology reduces the energy required to operate the UV drying system while keeping productivity levels constant. The electronic power supply has a power of 10 kW and can be regulated between 15% and 100% as needed. When cascaded, EPS units can achieve a total power of 12 kW.
