Mimaki intends to participate, either independently or via distributors or dealers, with the compact UJF-3042 UV LED printer, which was introduced in 2010 and has already sold in large numbers. The machine has become a very popular print solution in markets for promotional items, gifts, small signs and engraved products such as nameplates, badges and awards. The UJF-3042 is the ultimate solution particularly for small and medium sized runs, rapid delivery and personalisation. With its compact dimensions, user friendly operation, attractive price and high print quality this printer has created a true print revolution.

Mimaki’s integrated printing and cutting solutions will also be shown, alongside the UJF-3042, at most of the exhibitions. These sublimation or solvent transfer printers/cutting plotters have been developed for the promotional clothing print market and to print other promo articles such as mouse mats, coffee mugs, bags, cushions, biscuit tins and other gifts. These digital solutions are ideal particularly when small to medium sized volumes and personalisation are required. Nowadays these printing solutions are found, not only in the business-to-business, but also in the business-to-consumer market. The number of retail shops selling personalized printed gifts ‘over the counter’ to consumers is increasing. Quite some of these shops are equipped with Mimaki printers and cutting plotters, positioned behind the counter.
